"God is my Everything"
In May 2010, my husband and I decided to start a business. ENIV Artistic Studios was born, and we couldn't be more excited about our future. Our business began to take off, we starting getting huge clients and we both decided to quit our day jobs, in January of 2011, and focus on the business full time. We found a small office space in Springdale and began working towards our goal of becoming overnight success stories. Although we thought we had it all together, God had another plan for our lives. Our clientele began to slow, our finances began to take a rapid dive, everything was caving in around us. We were scrambling to make ends meet. We found ourselves homeless, distressed... hanging on to what i felt had become an empty dream. I thought what could be worse than secretly living in my cramped office space with a tiny restroom, taking showers at the gym and surviving the heat in the dead of summer (our office was air conditioned with one window unit that only seemed to work at night). I cried out to God, I asked him why he had allowed me to get myself into this situation. We had always told people that our business was our ministry... I felt like God was punishing me for something that i had done... I didn't know where to turn.
We met Pastor Marcus of the Dwelling Place church in Fayetteville, he'd heard of our work through a former client. I walked into the meeting with hopes of just being able to purchase some food or hygiene products once we made the sell. Little did i know that this meeting would change my life forever. God truly led my husband and I to the DP Church, I have learned that if you are faithful to serving and honoring God... he will be faithful to you. We began to piece our lives back together, I was offered a job for an amazing company... doing exactly what i love. God has completely renewed and refreshed my life. If it wasn't for my trials and tribulations... I wouldn't be able to completely trust and have faith in my Awesome God as I do today.
